Silver is a precious metal considered pure at 999\/1000. In this state, it\u2019s too soft to be used for jewellery. I therefore work with Sterling Silver, also known as 925 silver, which contains 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper. This combination strengthens the structure of the jewellery while preserving the elegance of the metal.<\/p>

Silver is also more malleable and delicate than gold or platinum. It can oxidise (darken) when exposed to moisture \u2013 a normal chemical reaction. This doesn\u2019t mean your jewellery is of poor quality. In fact, depending on your skin\u2019s pH, silver will react differently. Fortunately, these effects are reversible with proper care.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
