The Trees of Paris

¡The Trees of Paris, now officially "Made in Paris"!

I’m proud to announce that my jewellery collection Les Arbres de Paris est à présent labellisée « Fabriqué à Paris ».

AN EMOTION AT THE ORIGIN OF A JEWEL

As a jeweller passionate about nature, I draw inspiration from the trees in my city to create my Les Arbres de Paris jewellery collection.
To better illustrate this approach, what better than a story…
It was at a street corner in Paris that I encountered a white magnolia, with deep green foliage and strikingly pure blossoms.

That memory, still vivid in my mind, left a deep impression on me. I then wanted to immortalise that emotion by creating a jewel inspired by the Parisian tree canopy — a tribute to their silent strength.

Through this limited edition of my Les Arbres de Paris jewellery collection, I wish to express my gratitude to these urban trees that offer us energy, poetry, and inspiration every day.

Finally, I hope you’ll find in this collection the unique piece that connects you to your own tree in Paris.

LES ARBRES DE PARIS JEWELLERY COLLECTION: artisanal and responsible craftsmanship

“Les Arbres de Paris” is my second artisanal jewellery collection, composed of limited-edition earrings and pendants. As with each of my creations, every piece is handmade in my Paris workshop from recycled or chiselled brass, then gold- or silver-plated.

To enrich this collection further, I combine various techniques, such as cold enamelling, to give each creation a unique character inspired by urban trees and the Parisian canopy.

This meticulous work, which I carry out with care, requires patience and precision. It allows me to translate into jewellery the emotion of a leaf, the silhouette of a trunk, or the elegance of a branch.

Moreover, nothing is left to chance: the materials are carefully selected, and the finishes reflect my commitment to responsible, local craftsmanship.

Through this Les Arbres de Paris jewellery collection, I aim to pass on a fragment of urban nature, shaped by hand and heart.

Urban Trees and Their Ecological Benefits

The ecological benefits of Parisian trees, in five points

1. Reducing air pollution :

First and foremost, urban trees, just like my nature-inspired jewellery made in Paris, have a positive impact on our environment. Each tree can capture up to 1.3 kg of fine particles (PM2.5) per year. In Paris, this represents a significant amount of pollutants absorbed, contributing to better air quality for the residents. This action resonates with my approach to responsible jewellery making, respectful of urban ecology.

2. Thermal regulation :

Moreover, trees play a crucial role in regulating the temperature of cities. In Paris, they offer cool islands in the summer by reducing local temperatures by several degrees. This natural ability to cool the urban environment deeply inspires me: through my jewellery, I celebrate this harmonious balance between nature and urban comfort.

3. Biodiversity and ecological corridors :

In parallel, urban trees provide habitats for a wide variety of fauna and flora. In Paris, the creation of ecological corridors promotes the movement of species and the preservation of biodiversity. This living richness feeds my imagination: through my handmade jewellery inspired by nature, I celebrate the beauty of this discreet life, while committing to a greener city.

4. Rainwater management :

Moreover, trees in cities intercept a large amount of rainwater, helping to prevent flooding and to ease the pressure on drainage systems. In Paris, this contribution is essential for sustainable water management. In my collection, I pay tribute to this natural balance, capturing the discreet and beneficial strength of trees in each of my creations.

5. Mental and physical well-being :

In short, trees and green spaces in urban environments are synonymous with serenity, mental well-being, and vitality. In Paris, they provide places for daily escape and renewal. Watching a bird perched on a tree branch, like a messenger of calm, reminds us of the importance of these suspended moments. My jewellery is inspired by this inner peace offered by trees, inviting everyone to wear a fragment of nature and well-being close to them.
