How is a Manufacturing Defect Defined?
For me, a manufacturing defect means that a piece of jewellery has a design flaw that makes it irreparably fragile, or that the manufacturing process was not carried out properly. A twisted or oval shape, or a loose stone, are not manufacturing defects. These are things that happen when, during daily activities, the jewellery is subjected to too much pressure and becomes misshapen. This happens to everyone. I always remember that jewellery is a precious item that should be handled with care. Durability and material quality do not exclude the need for some caution.
I work by hand, and although manufacturing quality is one of the fundamental pillars of my brand, human error is possible.
I am proud to be completely transparent with my clients. If a manufacturing defect is identified, my specialists will recognise it, and we will repair your jewellery at no extra charge.
